Sims 4 High School Years expansion is 15% off in launch deal

The Sims 4‘s latest pack High School Years is out now, and there’s a discount if you play on PC.

The expansion comes with a tonne of new content for your teen Sims. They can go to school at Copperdale High, doing everything from attending classes and taking exams to eating at the cafeteria, facing detention and going to prom.

There’s also a large theme park (with a ferris wheel and haunted house) to explore, plus a bubble tea shop and thrift store combo called ThrifTea.

Even though the school aspect ties everything together, the real draw is seeing the teenagers experiencing drama, growing up and learning about themselves.

Senior game designer Jessica Croft recently told Digital Spy: “Certainly there were valuable lessons learned from Discover University.

“We wanted High School Years to feel different, despite both being related to education. One way to look at it is that the high school experience is the spine of the pack — while the drama, discovery and excitement of being a teenager is the soul of the pack.”

If you’re already sold and play on Origin for PC, CDKeys is selling the expansion at 15% off, available for £27.99 in the UK or $34.39 in the US.

It’s a big month for The Sims 4as the free base game update that launched alongside the pack comes with features including sexual orientation options (including the ability to create asexual and romantic Sims), curved walls, body hair and a new phone interface.

In addition, a wants and fears system – driven by the Sims’ own desires and experiences – contributes to giving Sims more personality.

It is worth pointing out that there is a bug that many players are experiencing with the latest update, as Sims can instantly auto-age depending on your Sim Lifespan setting. The developers are currently working on a fix for the glitch.

The Sims 4: High School Years is out now on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
