Father-of-three Mike Tindall had his hands full as he took his children to the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park today.
The former England rugby player, 43, who is married to the Queen’s granddaughter Zara Tindall, 41, attended the prestigious event, held at the Princess Royal’s estate, alongside his two daughters Mia, eight, and Lena, four, and his one-year -old son Lucas.
They were joined by a casually dressed Princess Anne, 71, who could be seen chatting to her young grandson and motioning in one direction, while he pointed in another.
Yesterday, Mike and his boisterous children watched British equestrian Zara compete on horseback at day one of the occasion.

Mia is the eldest of Zara and former rugby star Mike Tindall’s children and is now 22nd in the line of succession.
Like her cousin Savannah Phillips, Mia is known for a mischievous streak and can also be found running around with her father and cousins at various horse competitions.
Her younger sister Lena was born in June 2018. Zara’s cousin, Prince Harry, is Lena’s godfather.
Upon the birth of her little brother in March 2021, Mike said that little Lena, then aged three, had taken to calling the boy ‘my baby!’ and then trying to pick him up, leaving him and Zara to have to tell her ‘no Lena, it’s not your baby!’
The third child of Zara and Mika is Lucas Philip Tindall, who was born in March 2021. He was delivered on the bathroom floor of the family’s home in Gatcombe Park, because Zara didn’t have enough time to make it to the hospital.
In a podcast revealing the child’s birth, Mike said that Zara’s friend had recognized the urgency of the situation, their midwife was called and then ‘it was run into the gym, get a mat, get into the bathroom, towels down, brace brace !’
Lucas’ middle name, Philip, is a nod to both his great-grandfather, Prince Philip, and Mike Tindall’s own father, banker Philip Tindall.
