Love Island fans have slammed Luca Bish for ‘overreacting’ to being voted for by his fellow Islanders for least compatible couple, hours after his mother told him to watch his behaviour.
The fishmonger, 23, was greeted by his mum and dad in the meet the parents episode on Sunday, and they didn’t hold back in giving him a telling off.
Luca asked his parents what they thought of his behavior and they indicated at him they were less than impressed with how he was towards Tasha on occasion.

His mum said, ‘We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, and there have been times when I’ve wanted to come in and give you a good telling off. Just sometimes overreacting. Well, Luca, when you come home we’ll have a chat about it.’
Luca asked, ‘But do you think with the Tasha stuff, I came on a bit strong,’ and his mother replied, ‘Do you know what? You’ve resolved it. That’s the main thing. Yeah, you did overstep the mark.’
He added: ‘If I’ve done wrong I know it and hearing you two say it is even more…’
It comes after Love Island has been the subject of more than 5,000 complaints to broadcasting watchdog Ofcom in the past two weeks, relating to alleged ‘misogynistic behaviour’ and ‘bullying’ by some of the male contestants, including Luca.

Fans took to Twitter to applaud Luca’s parents for calling him out for his actions.
One said: ‘the fact that luca’s parents even know he’s overreacting abt everything speaks volumes’.
While another echoed: ‘Atleast Luca’s mum told him he was being ad******ed the guys a knob!’
A third tweeted out: ‘luca even ur mum told you to calm down #loveisland’.

However, it appears Luca did not want to heed his parents’ advice, after only hours later he kicked off about being in the public vote.
After being saved, he sat down at the firepit and muttered to Gemma Owen: ‘Ooh I’m gonna have some fun tonight,’ suggesting he was about to kick off.
Later, Luca said: ‘The people I voted for I don’t give af**k’, adding that he sounded ‘angry’ because: ‘F**king all I know is how good me and Gemma are, but then three of you voted for me.’

He and Gemma sat down with Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope, where they justified their vote for them.
Indiyah explained: ‘We know that arguments are normal, but it’s the stuff that you’re arguing about, small little things like you lot in the challenge and your protectiveness, I just feel like it was blown out of proportion.’
While Luca tried to argue back, Gemma maturely calmed down the situation, saying: ‘That’s their point, they can say it without us trying to fight back.’

Another person pointed out: ‘Luca your mum already warned you about your over reactions. Rest man’.

A fifth agreed, writing: ‘Luca you should be happy just to be in the final with the girl you love, isn’t that the same thing you were telling Tasha????’
