I didn’t blog last Thursday. I didn’t feel like blogging that day. What i did was work on our thesis. It was a small, really easy part, but i had fun doing it. Though the msuical alphabet song was getting irritating. I had to listen to it over and over and get the masking right. I was assigned to do the videoke of a couple or more nursery rhymes.

Anyway, i was supposed to blog another Friday Flicks on 2 movies i saw within the past week, but i failed. Hmm.. What DID i do last Friday?

Mom came home Saturday morning and she asked me to go to our former chruchmates’ hardware store and canvass the price of glass door for the shop. I was not able to do that either because i headed to the chruch first to ask Kuya Paul where the hardware store was located and then it started to rain hard. I was stranded for a couple of minutes then i borrowed an umberlla and headed home.

I wanted to go online but then the electricity started fluctuating, and i couldn’t risk it because the computer might short-circuit. So i watched TV instead which was annoying too because of the electricity. Mom called and asked me if i wanted to go with her to her colleagues’ wake and i said yes because it was getting dark and the situation was not getting any better.

The wake turned out to be a reunion for even the people who aren’t working at PAL anymore were there. The guy who died was a good person and everybody loved him, so everybody who cared was there. Some of them have not seen each other in years, so they were happy about that.

Today i went to church, did what i usually do, recorded the special numbers and the sermon. It turns out it was the Singles’ time to give a special number and i was a part of it. I’ll probably upload the video and share it, but i’ll still think about it. LOL.

In the afternoon, after the Youth Fellowship, my DotA boys and I went to play at a computer shop near by. We had 3 rounds and it was uber fun. I have not played DotA in over a month! And it was just fun to spend time with my boys. :D

So yesterday, i finally got enrolled. I was quite excited because it was my last semester in school and i’ll be graduating on May 2009! Hopefully. I am confident i could handle my other subjects well, but i’m a little scared of the thesis part. My thesis partner and I are in the second part of the damn prerequisite and have yet to start on working on the software. It’s mostly my fault because i am such a procrastinator. I should have worked on the shop while i was not enrolled last semester. So we could have started a couple of weeks earlier. But nooo… i was just to lazy for anything.

But putting that aside, i intent to put all my time and effort in helping my thesis partner. I’m not that knowledgeable in Flash so I’m also in the process of learning. I was supposed to research but things has just been so hectic and i don’t like stressing myself out.

Anyway, after i fixed everything in school and got enrolled, i headed to GMA-7 where i was supposed to meet with Manny Pacquiao. He’s a friend of my mom and i was to deliver his bracelet order. I met him personally a while back during the victory party Chavit Singson threw for him last July.

He was taping for Pinoy Records, because he’s to leave for US on Sunday evening. He’ll be training for his next fight. Hmm.. i think taking pictures were restricted but meh.

Anyway, he’s a nice guy. He’s playful and such a joker. Some people think he’s arrogant and swell headed, but he’s not. He seems that way because of the way he talks, and also because of some of the people around him. Now those are the ones who are swell headed. He can’t say “no” to people and would probably do anything you tell him to. That’s why some politicians are using him for their personal political gain.

Oh, his wife Jinky is 5 months pregnant and was not feeling well last night. But they had to go to a despedida party that GMA-7 is throwing for Manny.

I’m such a bad blogger. I keep on going on short hiatuses from time to time. But i guess they’re pretty normal for someone who has an offline life. Though i don’t think i have THAT kind of offline life. I’ve just been bumming out and watching TV or DVD instead.

Anyway, i finally had the chance to go over at Lala’s to work on our thesis. We talked about what to do first and decided to start the next day. but i haven’t been back because of headaches and dysmenorrhea. Maybe tomorrow.

We had lots of catching up to do. i haven’t seen her since early April. She drives now and told me that she almost got into an accident a few months back. She didn’t worry much because she had car insurance, but still. It was fortunate that the accident didn’t actually happen.

I was hoping to go there tomorrow, but i just remembered that there’s an acquaintance party at ACLC ECLI and i so wanted to go. I’ll still think about it.

So it’s been a month or so since i went on HIATUS. Now, i am officially back. I didn’t have my DSL cut, though it was disconnected for a whole two weeks. I got it reconnected about 2 weeks ago. I’ve been here and there, trying to accomplish things, but failed, as usual.

I’m still too lazy for anything. But i want to blog about my life and the things that i’m going through.

I have been active in church for the past month. I have been watching “Supernatural” and is almost done with season 2. I was still up to date with Grey’s Anatomy. And, i have failed to start on my thesis. BWAHAHA!!

I have found a new friend in my god-sister Abi, and her cousin, Daniel. Danz and I have been friends since we were kids but it wasn’t until January 2007 that we became close, and it wasn’t till last month that we got closer. (I have been out of touch from time to time in the 3rd quarter of 2007). While Abi and I have been “sisters” a couple of weeks now.

I am just happy that i finally feel that i belong. There would be rough patches, but still, with God’s help, i will get through life one step at a time.

I have tons of projects that need to be done. Last time i made a blog for my pugs and a blog for my daily devotion. But i have neglected them once again. Aside from working on my thesis, i have to work on my mom’s gallery of fame, and a personal project for our church.

I also have tons of videos that needs uploading. I have been recording our preacher’s sermon and the choir’s special number, which i plan to share with the rest of the world, or maybe to our members who are abroad.

In school matters, like i’ve mentioned, i have failed to start my thesis with Lala. I am not enrolled for the semester because there’s only one subject available for me and if i would take it, it would still cost me Php12k. So i have planned to take my last sem, next sem. :big_smile:

I miss blogging so much! Things are just pretty hectic these days. Aside from school, i am also in job training. Our thesis is almost done, i just need to do a flowchart and Gant chart and i have no idea how to. I told Lala i was gonna do it last week but i’m just too busy for anything. I’m also tired everyday.

A couple of weeks ago i was at Lala’s place and was watching TV. I found this new show called Identity. A contestant would be faced with twelve persons and you have to guess their identity. During that time, one of the identities was someone who had a nose job. The contestant was having a hard time on guessing because there were 3 beauty queens and one of them has had a boob job and the contestant was assuming she might have had a nose job too. But the contestant’s wife was so certain that it was the guy who had a nose job. It was pretty obvious but he didn’t put a guess to that. In the end the wife was right.

He didn’t win the jackpot but he won $170,000.00, which was good enough. He said, “when i joined this contest i wanted to win, and $170,000.00 IS a win. So i’m taking it home.” Which was so true. He was not greedy and was satisfied with what he won.

Oh wow! I got hacked and i feel so loved. I find it funny that people would hack other people’s sites. What do they get out of it? Do they earn money for that? What would they possibly want to hack in my site? I don’t think there’s anything of worth to find in here. Which reminds me, i should change passwords to all my accounts now. No, i don’t use the same passwords for my accounts but just for safety. Now i gotta think of a new set of passwords.

Thanks to Ate J for informing me of the hack. I know it was recent because i checked last night and it was fine. I think it’s a message that i need to update. I have been busy the past week and I’m ready blog about it. Of course, pictures are involved. :excited:

I’ll be a little busy with my Thesis and all. But i would still try and blog from time to time. So far i have blogged almost everyday, even if they’re only quick posts. Not that anyone would really care. Right? :sad:

I would say that Sunday is my rest day from all of the school work i have to do. It’s not really much since i only have 4 subjects this semester, but thesis takes most of my time. :tire: My thesis partner demands that i show up in her house everyday after school. Well, not really demands it but i have no other choice but to show up. :big_smile:

I was to blog about something but i forgot as usual. I have a really bad memory. mom says the reason for my short-term memory loss is that I’m out of focus. She may be right. I’m thinking of using memory enhancers, i need to research about those.

I installed more plugins, which you will find in the menu under “site”. There’s also a useful post which i found, it contains 300+ plugin that are recommended for use with your Wordpress blog. I’ll provide the link next time.

I love the smilies i found, and the plugin i used for it. WP-grins doesn’t work for the new version of Wordpress, i think. So i had to find a different plugin. The one i’m using is pretty good though the smilies in the comments page aren’t clickable. I’ll figure that out next time.

I set the alarm at 7am this morning but Kendo woke me up 5 minutes before the alarm went off. Wanting to make it to Lala’s by 9am, i got up and made some breakfast. I chopped onions for the corned beef, it was smoked and i didn’t like the way it smelled but totally loved the taste. I also fried 6 eggs, i wanted to make them sunny side up but i failed. Obviously i had a big breakfast to get the brain juices working.

Despite of waking up early, i still managed to be late. Like 20 minutes late. But it didn’t really matter as long as i was going to spend the whole day with Lala, working on chapter I of our thesis.

At the moment, Lala went to school to attend her class. She will be gone for 3 hours or less, depending on how long the class will go. So i am here again blogging. We’ve procrastinated so much the whole week but we’re almost done with Chapter I.

Hopefully i could get home early tonight and have more time to blog.

Happy Valentine’s Day! or as loveless people call it, Single Awareness Day.

I just finished whatever it is i was doing. Well, i installed plugins, a lot of them i think. You can view what plugins i use by clicking this link. I also made a gallery again. It’s an integration between Flickr and Simpleviewer. There’s only 2 albums, I’ll add the others when i get another chance.

Like what i mentioned in my previous post, i finally figured out what was wrong with the comments page. Though i didn’t know why it happened, so i upgraded the plugin that caused it.

My thesis partner, Lala and i, were supposed to work on our chapter 1 today. She asked me to have our title proposal signed, which i did, though there are still a couple more signatures lacking. Then at around 3pm she sent me a message saying that we should work on our thesis tomorrow instead. I don’t know why and i’m not complaining. I felt like i had a free day, though it’s not really a free day.

I had a pedicure, and finished reading a book. HOORAY! I wanted to watch a movie too but i had no time for that. I missed going online and blogging.

Anyway, i need to go. So i’ll blog about things tomorrow instead, before i head for school.

This week was our Prelim exams. It started Monday, but i had no scheduled exams till Wednesday. I only have 4 subjects and only 3 of them that has written exam. So i went to school yesterday and paid my tuition so i could get my exam. But i was too late to take the first two exams. Why? Because i had something i had to attend to earlier yesterday morning. An issue i’d rather not write about because i do not want that story included in my blog. It just fires me up.

Anyway, Lala was in school yesterday but i was rather in a hurry so we didn’t really get a chance to talk about our Thesis. I think she asked me about when we were going to start. But i was thinking that it really shouldn’t get to the point that I’d have to sleep over at her place. Thesis A is all about research and i bet we could do that in the comforts of our own home. Though i like her place, i still feel more comfortable in working in my own house, using my own computer. Except maybe if mom is home and starts to bug me to the point that i can’t concentrate.

I was thinking that i could probably start researching in the school’s library, or any other library that i can get access to. I’m not sure but i think there would be some market research involved. I’m really not sure.

Oh, i still need to find my finals permit last 1st sem.

I just spent two-and-a-half hours browsing around and making modifications here and there. Once again, i failed to do some blogging. I got home late today, because i went to the mall after school and hanged out in the bookstore.

It’s 12:40am now and I am to blog about what happened to me earlier today, which was Friday. I tried to wake up early because i had tons of things to do. I was supposed to get a foot spa and pedicure, which was originally planned last night but mom spoiled it for me. Anyway, I was to pick out an outfit to wear for our Thesis’ title defense, then study for a quiz, which i failed to do.

Mom and I were surprised to hear a knock at the gate and found my grandpa’s brother, who lives in L.A., standing outside. He just flew in that morning and gave us a visit right away. His name is Boy, so i call him Lolo Boy¹. My mom is his favorite niece and I am his favorite granddaughter because my mom brought me up well. :) He said he was worried because his wife was calling us to find out how my mom was² and there was no answer. Then he was sending e-mail several times and since my mom had no time to go online³, she hasn’t been replying either. So he got worried and decided to fly back to Manila to find out what was going on. He’s so sweet, right?

They went out for lunch⁴, and ended up having dessert instead. I didn’t go because i was planning on reviewing for the quiz, but i ended up sleeping on the couch with Kendo on my tummy. I was almost late for school but then i remembered that it was a Friday and there wasn’t a 3pm class. But i still headed for school because i had to look for Lala and get ready for our thesis title defense at 5:30pm. We got dressed at around 5pm which was a good idea because the first group finished earlier than expected. Actually, everyone was making fun of me because of what i was wearing, but i don’t want to talk about that. The defense happened and ended. We had three proposals and the one that we liked was the one that got approved although the panel wanted to add more stuff, you know, to make it “harder”. Though we’re still unsure if we could really make it happen, but we will try. The good news is that Thesis A is just research, and we don’t really have to do any software programming till Thesis B, but we want to finish early so we’ll probably work on the project soon enough. Wish us luck.

Tomorrow, well more like tonight, is Tita Ali’s despedida party. She’s finally heading to Madrid and leaving Señor with us. I bet it would be fun. I’ll be taking pictures so i would be able to blog about it. I kinda hate myself for not blogging about things i want to blog. Like i made a photoblog, a tagalog blog, Kendo’s blog, and rarely post on them. I have neglected my multiply account too. Oh i suck. I need more time!

Oh! I think Lolo Boy will get me a higher memory hard drive. Mom called me this afternoon while they were out and was asking about our computer’s hard drive. And i could hear him saying something like, “40Gb is not enough. 120Gb is not even enough, she should get something like 500(Gb). I know a place where i can get it cheaper.” And when i asked my mom about it earlier, she said that he might buy me one. Oh Joy! A laptop would be better, but i wouldn’t mind the hard drive for my PC. And mom might be getting me a laptop soon! Well, not really for me, more like for the shop. She found out that there are laptops worth Php10k, so she might get a couple for the shop. Muwahahaha! I can’t wait.

PLDT sucks, which is another story i could write about later tonight. I’ve written enough.

If you noticed, i have a new theme and layout up. It’s the Forte theme by Moses Francis and i am loving it so much! I’m glad i found a layout i really, really liked and needed. This is the same layout i wanted to come up with when i was trying to make my own theme. And this theme is really simple too. I just love it! I’ll stick to this one, i hope for good. I am too lazy and too busy to come up with a theme that i would use myself. But I would still make free themes that my fellow bloggers might like to use.

I’m still trying to fix everything, you know, put up everything that needs to be attached to the pages. And with this useful theme, that would be pretty easy. I placed the ads first, of course. They make this blog happen. I’m also thinking of accepting 125×125 banner ads on my sidebar for $5/month which i would be placing on top of everything else. Is that a fair price? What do you think?

I have quizzes tomorrow that i still need to study for. Plus the fact that our title defense for thesis is scheduled tomorrow too! It just sucks that we have to defend our title proposals when we haven’t done any case studies. That’s just so fucked up. Sorry for the language.

Anyway, i wanna do some bloghopping before i go.
