I was intrigued with this movie because I’ve been hearing Abi play the songs from the movie on the piano. When Phantom of the Opera was shown, it didn’t catch my interest. I thought it would be boring. I searched torrent sites for the copy of this film and watched it once it finished downloading.
Honestly, i expected killing in the end. Either the Phantom would kill Raoul to get Christine or that Raoul would kill the Phantom. But there was no killing, except when the Phantom killed random people between the duration of the film in the beginning to the middle part.
In the end of the film, how come Madame Giry and the Phantom were still still alive, and the former was even strong enough to walk, when Christine was dead and Raoul was in a wheelchair? If they were that old, shouldn’t the older be more weak? Or shouldn’t they have died already? Whatever.
The Phantom played by Gerard Butler. Christine is played by Emmy Rossum, whom i think is really, really pretty. Also starring Patrick Wilson and Miranda Richardson.
