G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is one of the most anticipated movies of 2009. Honestly, i had no idea what the story is about. I vaguely remember seeing a few episodes of the series when i was a kid, but that was it. Aside from the cool effects i saw in the trailer, the other reason i wanted to see this movie is Channing Tatum and Marlon Wayans. I love them both and i think it’s an unusual tandem for an action movie.
I watched the movie last Friday and it was awesome! The ending kinda sucked though, but it is still worth seeing. All the characters have amazing moves, and there were also a lot of back stories to support the present one. I’m sure there’ll be another franchise of the G.I. Joe story.
Is is just a coincidence that Channing Tatum was casted with the name “Duke” twice now? The first was in She’s the Man, where i first saw him. As much as i loved the Snake Eyes character, i would have to go with Scarlet O’Hara as my favorite. Marlon Wayans is still funny as ever.
