late night movie marathon

I don’t think it is considered a marathon, but i did watch movies on my PC in the wee hours of the night. I started with Bolt last Saturday, never got around to finishing it till last night. I wanted to see Bolt in theaters when it came out. But i was broke, so i had to wait till i could get my hands on the DVD. Unfortunately, the copy i got was bad and i didn’t get the chance to exchange it for the same title. I had the other option of downloading it via torrent. I know, piracy is bad, but its the only way i could get to see a movie when i missed it in the big screen.

Bolt is so cute, i have always liked movies about pets and i like them more now that i have the dog. I could just imagine how the dog felt when he thought his owner was in danger for real, because he thinks he’s a super dog. The cat’s story reminded me of Jessie from Toy Story 2. She was once a house pet but one day her owners left her all alone. Sad. Rhino the hamster is so funny. I enjoyed this movie so much and i know children will love it too.

Another movie i watched is He’s Just Not That Into You. It reminded me of a Filipino movie called “Jologs” where it shows how small the world is. You have a friend who knows someone who has heard of you from a friend. I would go into details about it but it’s best if you watch it for yourself.

Here’s a line from the movie that i liked so much.

I had this guy leave me a voicemail at work, so i called him at home. And then he e-mailed me to my Blackberry, and so i texted his cell. Then he e-mailed me to my home account and the whole thing just got out of control.

And i miss the days where you had one phone number and once answering machine. And that answering machine housed one cassette tape..
and that one cassette tape either had a message from the guy or it didn’t.

And now you have to go around checking all these different portals just to get rejected by 7 different technologies.

It’s exhausting.

It totally makes sense. That’s how the world works right now, technology has taken away the personal touch of having to talk to someone in the face.

The last i saw was How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, which i found a little boring but i finished it. I was intrigued because the title itself is something that worked for me. I mean, i have lost friends and alienated people since high school, so i thought i could relate to this movie.

Kirsten Dunst is so lovely, i missed seeing her on screen. I have liked her ever since i saw Interview with the Vampire, and i have been trying to watch her movies ever since.

I didn’t know Megan Fox was in this movie till i saw someone Tumbled about it.
