My great host announced last week that they would be switching servers. Supposedly, the scheduled switch would be on Dec. 30 at 12am but instead, they started the switch on Dec. 29 at around 5-6pm. Which sucks because i was not able to back-up my files. Now i lost a couple of entries including my happy Christmas posts and my Holiday e-card gifts to my fellow blogmates. I also lost some links i recently included. Please be patient as i try to fix everything all over again. -sigh-

As great as my host is, i will transfer to my new host ASAP. So my network will be in one host only. Wish my luck. Ciao!

We were invited to join a Christmas dog party in Serendra. Since this is a repost, i don’t recall what i blogged about when i did. So i’ll just post the pictures. The dogs were consisted of 7 pugs, a Shi Tzu, Sharpay, and a half bred Shi Tzu¹. It was so much fun, especially watching the dogs running around and they seem to be enjoying themselves. Serendra is a great place to hang out, they have restaurants and shops. You won’t get bored. I love that Krispy Kreme is located there, and also Brother’s Burger. I just love ‘em all.

The title is not really related to the post, i just thought of it because I’ll be writing about lamps.

I want my own desk, where there’s a shelf for my books, and a place for writing, and where my computer would be. Of course there should be a desk lamp too. A touch lamp would be cool, we have one in our bedroom. It was given by my mom’s friend who sells lighting. I’ve been to her showroom and i love the lights and lamps that she has.

We have this ceiling lamp that has been with us since i was, like, 9 years old. We rarely use it, but it still works. Mom changed the lights and it was super bright! but one of them is busted now. Since we rarely use it, nobody has bothered to change it.

Anyway, i’m not a shopping person but only because i have no money to burn. But since i’ve been saving money and getting funds, i have found a cool site that would help consumers like me make online shopping easier. It’s Mpire, an online shopping tool that let’s you compare, research, and get the best deals in online shopping.

When you search for a particular item, it would return results from most of the known and trusted online shops like e-bay, Amazon, Best Buy, and Target. You can also compare the prices from shop to shop, to help you decide on a better deal. You could also search for an item based on your budget or it’s features. For example, i searched for gaming consoles and it returned a page with all the available items, then the page also shows price ranges and types of consoles. It sure is a great tool.

Mpire is also great for monitoring price changes from different store. It’s really convenient for people like me, who don’t purchase an item just because it’s hot. I wait for the right moment, when the prices have dropped, and i settle for what i can afford.

We were supposed to go to Tita Aji’s place last night because we were invited for dinner. It’s a Christmas dinner for their group of friends, but unfortunately, it was canceled. Too bad too, because i was so looking forward that dinner. Meh..

Anyway, there’s another Christmas dinner we were invited to. And it would be on Christmas Eve at Tita Annie’s place.

Today was the first day, and my last day, of exams. All of my subjects were scheduled for this day, 3 of them were conflicted but fortunately, 2 of them only requires us to sign the attendance. Grades will be released on January 2. I hope i get good grades!

This afternoon, Glenn invited me to play DotA with him. It was his day off. We play with our other church mates every Sunday, after the service. It’s me, Glenn, and Ely against, Daniel, Tim, and AJ. It feels so good to be playing again. I missed DotA so much. I really needed the practice.
