oh yes, i have a digital camera now. i want to blog about it in details so if you’re interested, you just have to wait because at the moment i don’t have DSL connection because the effin telephone company disconnected it again.

Our landline was disconnected last May 21 because we forgot to pay our dues on May 7. How effing stupid is that? We are supposed to be given another month before they disconnect or atleast till the next due date. Since the landline was cut, it automatically disconnects the DSL too. I paid right away of course and they reconnected the landline last May 24. Now this is what really pissed me off. Still no DSL. I called their hotline more than 10 times and they give me the stupid excuse that it would be back after 48 hours. It’s been 5 days since they told me that. I called again the other night and they said that the DSL was not reconnected because they have to verify that the landline is functioning well and it will be back in another 48 hours. If i go home and find that there’s still no DSL, i’m going to call their hotline and tell them how much their system sucks.

Anyway, thank you for your greetings and commenting in my semi-dead site. I would love to return comments but my life right now is pretty much busy 24/7. I must say, my birthday this year received the most number of greetings in my 22 years of breathing. Thank you all!

School started last week and i still haven’t enrolled. I’m in school right now.

my friend Li-J always sings that or says that phrase whenever she’s excited. I did not intentionally copy her but that phrase came to my mind when i found out that mom is planning to buy a digital camera. How excited can i get? I’ve been trying to keep the excitement to myself and i’m having a hard time. I almost didn’t sleep last night. Well, i was watching season 3 of Grey’s Anatomy but that was because i couldn’t sleep. But at 3am, i decided to get some rest.

It all started when mom came back from San Francisco last Tuesday. She said that Tita Baby got her a Costco cash card amounting to $150. She said it’s her birthday gift for me and mom. Mom had her birthday last April 28, i was in camp and arrived later that night. And my birthday is on next Friday. I am turning 22, which kinda sucks coz i feel old. So mom asked me to about digital cameras and that got me wondering. She often says that a digital camera is not a necessity and i say (think actually), maybe for her it isn’t but i just so love taking pictures.

She’s going to try and get a Canon Powershot A550. There’s an offer in Staples that when you get that camera they would throw in a free photo printer. It’s a good deal right? But i told her that if the offer is not good by the time she gets there, better get Powershot A630. I think that’s the one, i don’t really remember. By the way, mom took the flight to L.A. last night and she’ll be back on Monday. That’s why i’m excited.

My friends and i are planning to go out days before my birthday. It’s like our celebration. We’ll go ice skating in Mall of Asia. I told mom about it and she’s totally fine with it but she wants to go too. She said we can go inside and she would stay outside with Kendo. I want to see Pirates of Caribbean: At World’s End on iMAX but Mage said she gets dizzy watching 3D. So we might see it on a regular cinema instead. We planned to go on Tuesday but since Pirates will open on Wednesday, we changed our plans to Thursday.

I’m still doing some changes on the new theme i’m working on. It’s another thing to be excited about. I wish to do more themes to last me a few months, in case i get lazy again. There’s more things i need to do offline. I’m just so happy to have a life. :)

It has been so long since i did any change with my blog. I’m inspired to do a new layout and hopefully my computer won’t act up on me while i’m coding and designing because there’s a lot of designs that i want to do. At the moment though, i’m using the default theme, i’m fixing it because this is going to be my base layout for all the themes that i’ll be doing from now on. Also, I got a couple of new plugins when i was just looking for one in particular. Might as well share them with you.

Today is the National Elections so i woke up early to vote. 8am is early for me. It was a good thing that the alarm on my cellphone woke me up because i usually ignore it in my dreams and go back to sleep. I don’t usually want to talk about elections because it makes me want to shave my head. :nyu: Well, yeah, it’s a topic i usually try not to avoid. But yeah, election. That’s it.

Last night i called mom because i forgot to the other night. I desperately needed to talk to her because i want to know who else she wants to vote for. She’s in San Francisco, she left there this morning and will be home tomorrow morning. My list had 8 senatorial candidates and i asked her if there’s anyone else she wanted to vote for, since she can’t vote, i don’t want to waste the spaces i had. Plus, i don’t know who to vote for in the vice mayor and councilors category. I don’t really know the locals. In the end, my list was complete.

This year’s election seems to be peaceful compared to the previous elections. I’m not sure with the other places but everything seems to be fine and there’s just petty problems in some areas. COMELEC surely was strict today. The streets are cleaner and there aren’t any person distributing sample ballots near the school. The day isn’t over yet so i’ll just pray that everything goes really well.

Since i’m done watching my Heroes DVD the other day, i tried the site that Felisa (savvie from Wickeds MB) shared with me. TV Links is a really cool site. You can watch any TV series you want for free! The con is that it takes a long time to load, which was a bummer because since my Heroes DVD had only 19 episode, i tried watching episode 20 because i can’t wait to find out what happens. It took me almost 4 hours and it was more or less half of the episode. I paused it so it can load more but when i tried playing it again, the sounds were cut. My computer was acting out and i couldn’t figure out what to do with it so i had no choice but to close it. Too bad. Oh well, i just have to wait for the new seasons to come out on DVD and pray that my supplier will let me exchange it.

Since i had other DVD series to watch, i tried Roswell, though i didn’t really think i’d like it, which i did after watching season one’s first episode. I currently have season one to three, i think. I just wish it’s worth it. I think it would be since i like anything. So i’m not really into the alien thing but i like fictional stuff. And Izzie of Grey’s Anatomy is there too. Weee.. :angel:

So yeah, i’m off to code my new layout.

I bought DVD’s the other day. Desperate Housewives season 1 & 2, although i only needed season 2 because my copy was skipping, i had no choice but to buy it. Detective Conan, the anime i love but i didn’t watch it yet. And Heroes, a new series i love.

Heroes is awesome! It’s like X-Men but cooler! I love it. I had a marathon and finished 19 episodes in 2 days. Then i found out that season 1 isn’t done yet, which i kind of regret buying the DVD. I would normally wait till a season is complete before i buy it but with lack of research and of pure excitement i went ahead. Like i’ve been saying in forums and stuff, i can’t wait to find out what’s next! I just hope the store i got it from would let me exchange it when the whole season is done and out.

The story of Heroes is like what i’ve been day dreaming about since i first got addicted to Charmed and first read Harry Potter. Walking on Earth with extraordinary powers. Except with the killings and bad things happening. But i guess if you really have to have powers then there’s going to be something bad related to it. I like telekinesis but being indestructible sounds good too. Though it would be boring if all the people you know and love are dead and you’re still alive.

I haven’t done anything useful, i’ve been a bum for a couple of months now and has been watching DVD. Nothing exciting going on with my life. Just the usual. PBA watching is becoming part of our weekly lives and i’m enjoying it. I still want to read unread books but with all these series of DVD’s i’ve been hooked to, i have no time. Which makes mom angry because i’m of no use to her. Maybe i should get a profession that would have me watching DVD’s or movies all day long. Maybe i should be a critic but i’m no good at giving reviews. I suck at it because i like everything.

Since i’m hooked to Heroes, my new favorite show, i would be making a layout dedicated to Claire Bennet. Or whatever. I just need to make a new layout. I’ve had this one for more than 3 months, i think.

There might be a camp again in the 20th. It’s like a follow up for those who were baptized during the previous camps this summer. I’m not sure of the details because it’s on a Sunday. As usual i’m reluctant but i really want to go.

I went ahead and watched Spiderman 3 last Friday. I was excited to see it because a lot of people seem to love it, though i heard from a few people that it was lame and that Spiderman 2 was better. I must say it was totally different from what i expected. Yes, the movie was cool, the story is good, but there were parts that was less Spidey-ish like the scenes where Peter Parker was possessed by the black thing and he got all arrogant and was dancing in the streets, which was funny and cool because Tobey Maguire looked like a dork which makes him a hot dork.

Anyway, it was a great movie. It has action, drama, comedy, and a little feel good at the end. James Franco still looked good even when half of his face was burned. Friendship triumphed over revenge and Harry even gave his life for Peter. Aaaw..

I had this idea while i was watching the movie, Mary Jane Watson is a flirt! I don’t know if the original story was supposed to be like that but she is in the movies. If i remember correctly, in the first movie she had a boyfriend, though i don’t remember who broke up with who. And then she was with Harry and she was flirting with Peter. When she broke up with Harry, she ran to Peter then they became a couple. And in the 3rd she flirts back with Harry. Isn’t she a flirt? LOL.

It’s just sad that it’s the last of Spiderman. I wish they’d make more Spidey movies. I bet there will still be more in the future, maybe 5-10 years from now. And why is it that movies nowadays are trilogies? We know that LOTR is really a trilogy, then there’s Matrix, X-Men, and some other movies i can’t think of at the moment. Shouldn’t movies like Spiderman and X-Men go on and on because they originated from comic books, meaning there would be a lot of stories to make. Like Superman and Batman, whose stories have been going on since the 80’s.

This morning i was supposed to go somewhere important but i was so sleepy and woke up at 1130H. So instead, this afternoon i went to CBC Rotonda because i was exchanging texts with Gee Ar last night and he told me that their church is having workshops. Gee Ar is one of the guys from camp, one of the staff. I decided to go because he said there would be workshops like music, dance, voice, and skateboard (which was his area). I wanted to learn everything but the classes were held at the same time so i had to choose 1. I chose voice because it was easier to learn and focus on, but instead i ended up in drum lessons, which was cool too because i have always wanted to learn how to play the drums. I could have gone with guitar or keyboard lessons but those are possible to learn with the people in our church. Drums is something our church doesn’t have nor will ever have, though i hope not in the future.

I had fun with the lessons. I was there to observe mainly but ended up being one of the students. I was also happy that there’s a schedule for voice lesson every Saturday, so i could probably do that too. I’m giving up on dance for now since i have an injured left knee, but i’m still hoping to learn more dance moves in the near future. I did pretty well for my first time on drums. We were allowed to play a beat, which they taught us, and they jokingly said that i was a natural. Oh really now? :P

The people are really nice and it’s really cool that they have these free workshops and that i am allowed to join even if i’m not a student. It’s better that i learn from them so that i could teach the people in our church and maybe hold our own workshops too.

After the lessons i went to Crossing to, as usual, run errands for mom. While i was there, i took the chance to play in the arcade and i’m doing better in Dance Mania 2nd Mix. WOOT!! hahaha.. then when i was about to go home, i went to Megamall and bought drum sticks so i could practice at home. Weeeeeee!!!

Tomorrow is going to be another busy day for me. And i’m going to spend it with my best friend because she’s going to accompany me…

Anyway, i have finished watching Grey’s Anatomy last night. Though season 3 disk was only 7 episodes, i think it was because it was made when the show had only 7 episodes. I can’t wait to see what will happen next. In the meantime, i will be watching my other series which i think won’t happen until this weekend. My girls and i are going out tomorrow and i’m not sure about Thursday yet, mom is coming home on Friday and there’s a basketball game that night too. I have to remind Mark for the tickets. mwahahahaha!

oh what’s with the title? Well, i hate Grey’s Anatomy because it has made me cry since season 2. Every episode had an emotional effect on me and had me crying all day and all night. GAH! my head and eyes hurt from all the crying. I hate it so much that i LOVE IT! -sigh-

I wanted to see Spiderman 3 with Li-J this afternoon but i was not available. Kuya Mel text messaged me last night and even called me to ask me if i could come with them to the ABCCOP sports fest. I missed playing sports and i made a pact to myself that i would put God first before anything else. What does God have to do with the sports fest? Well, ABCCOP is an organization / alliance of churches from Metro Manila and our church is one of it’s members. Although i was not able to wake up early to be at the venue at 7am, i still went even if i was late. I’m glad i went because i was able to play volleyball despite my injured knee and i think i played well. My cousin DJ kept saying that i was good, i knew she wanted to play but she said she doesn’t know how to. She got shy i think but she was dressed to play. Our team was in 2nd place and I got a medal for playing! It’s not a big deal but the medal is shiny! :P

As usual, i was not able to do what i wanted to do. I feel sorry for Kendo whenever i sit at the computer and surf and blog and check my accounts which takes more than 3 hours to do. 5-8 hours in front of the computer isn’t even enough for me. I need more time and i don’t have it to do all the work i want to do, with mom pressuring me to get my shop open and school coming soon. I need to manage my time more.. Maybe 3 hours of computer usage everyday would be enough, but it would put a lag on my surfing. Prioritize NickLe, PRIORITIZE!! (especially if i want to get rich soon)

I wonder why i don’t get any notification in my e-mail if someone comments. I used to get them then i don’t, then i did again, but now i don’t again. Get it? i’m confusing myself and you along with it. Well, i’m off to bed. It’s almost 11pm and Kendo is getting cranky. We’d better get to bed before his blood wakes up and it would be hard for me to put him to sleep.
