And i didn’t even buy it, i got it for free! How? It started in December when Helga joined the Twilight contest from Fizzer.ph, where she won a Canon Rebel 450D. Before that contest ended, another contest was in place, the New Year Blowout, where 5 people could win a Macbook, PSP3, HP Mini Notebook, PSP 3000, and iPod nano 5th Gen, respectively. The mechanics where simple, all we had to do was refer other people to the site. We’d get a point for every referral that uploaded a photo and added a school they went to.
Long story short, i won first place and am now using a 13″ Macbook Pro. I am extremely happy that i still can’t believe i have this right now. I named it Zachary, because it’ll be like my boyfriend for the next couple of years or so. Hahaha!
One thing i realized is that having a macbook is going to be pretty expensive. I checked out the accessories at the mall and if i decide to save up for them, i’d be broke before Christmas. But then, i would only purchase items that i really need, and if there is a cheaper alternative, i’d get that instead.
While i was at the store, i saw these really cool ipods, they’re so small! I wonder if those are what they call the 5th gen.
