The Final Destination 3D Official Trailer

As if the first Final Destination (FD) wasn’t torture enough, they are now releasing a fourth movie of the somewhat same title. I say somewhat because it’s now called *THE* Final Destination. In some cases it’s Final Destination 4, Final Destination: Death Trip, or Final Destination 3D.

I remember when the first one was released, i didn’t want to watch it because it said horror and i am not a fan of horror movies, but since Devon Sawa was in it¹ i had to tough it up and watch a movie i didn’t want seeing in the first place. I remember very little of how the story went but Ali Larter’s character survived it all because she was also in the 2nd FD movie. That’s where it got confusing because the lead in that one had to do something for death to stop following them, blah, blah. Larter died in this one but i think the lead female lived to tell the tale.

FD 3 however, I’ve seen on HBO more than 5 times, i think. The story made more sense but by this time everything was predictabley. Though the accidents have become freakier and finally the leads made it to the end! But they all died too, in an accident the lead female character foresaw just like when the movie started.

After 3 FD movies you’d think they would get tired of it, but no, they made a new one in 3D with unknown artists. The poster above says August but in Imdb.com, the movie is going to be released in September 2, 2009.
