Everyday that i’m tending the shop, i open the television beside my table to watch Eat Bulaga, the longest running noon time show in the Philippines. After that, i normally turn off the tv and turn it back on to watch the local news, and the shows after that, till the late night news again. But the past days, i keep it open because it gets boring here, and i like the TV open while i surf the interwebs.
I say teledramas are my source of daily comedy because there are tons of things in teledramas that i make fun of. Like how unrealistic they get and how they say the name of the person over and over.
Girl 1: where is Marco Jose?
Girl 2: what did Ana Margarita tell you? What did she say about Marco Jose?
Girl 1: Ana Margarita didn’t tell me anything, i just need to see Marco Jose.
Girl 2: i don’t know where Marco Jose is.
Girl 1: Tell me now! Tell me where Marco Jose is, please!
Girl 2: ask Ana Margarita! She’s the last one who saw Marco Jose.
Girl 1: then where is Ana Margarita?
People don’t talk like that in real life, do you? Some people do have more than one name but you don’t go out calling a person by his/her two names, that’s what nicknames are for. Heh. Another thing is how everything is about revenge, or killing, like getting even makes everything a-ok. Money makes the world go round. I’ll give you 5m to kill this person, and we’ll never get caught because we’re professionals. 
Sometimes i wonder if these fictional characters are so rich that they can do anything they wanted or do they have insurance for everything? A blown up car, burned house, murdered family member..
